American General Financial Services Inc. Complaint
Monthly payment statements

The monthly statements are misleading in that they indicate a loan amount that was approximately $5000 more than what I actually owed and a recommended regular payment to pay off that loan in 60 months. There is nothing on any monthly statement itemizing my actual obligation and how much I paid toward satisfying that loan. The statement should reflect what I owe and what I paid so that I know that the company received my payments. The current system seems to be a deliberate effort to confuse people and encourage failure to pay the required within the 12 month interest free period.
