Me and my wife have been members of Global Discovery Vacations for 3 years. We presently have 2 stars which is enough for us at the moment since we are both working full-time. At first we thought it was an expensive investment, but knowing that beyond the annual fee,(if we even use it in the year we want it), it's a lifetime use, and we'll be able to pass it along to our children when we are no longer able to use it, for us its a no-brainer.
Each year we take one big vacation--don't we all deserve that?? and we've used it twice, once to Marco Island, Florida, once to Aruba in the Caribbean, and we've booked a 2 week stay in St. Marteen's in 2010 where the price without Global Discovery Vacations is $195.00 a night. We're paying $192.00 for 12 days.

The only real drawback I see, which really doesn't effect us, is for these nice vacations you need to book it 9-12 months in advance. So if you know when vacation time is 9 months in advance there really doesn't seem to be an issue in making reservations.
Love My Membership, its a whole lot better and cheaper than purchasing a timeshare, I know first-hand I've been down that road before too!!
