Mercatila.com is an online retailer for many products. They do not stand behind their 110% price guarantee. Do not let them fool you with their apparent customer service. I attempted to cancel my purchase one day after placing the order and they didn't respond for four days. Once they called me back they told me the shipment went out the day prior so it was too late to cancel. They said if I refused the order they would still charge me the shipping costs even though shipping was free for the item bought.

In attempting to get the price match guarantee (found for $70 less from another online retailer), they never returned my calls nor responded to my emails.

STAY AWAY from this retailer - I've found more dependable people on Ebay!

Mercantila is horrible. I am going through the same experience. I tried to get ahold of them for a week solid to expedite shipping without any response. After calling the phone number they plaster all over their website, I heard a recording saying that they do not support customer service over the phone any longer and referred me BACK to their website! I finally figured this company was scamming me so I requested my money back. TWO DAYS later, they finally responded and said that since the item was due to ship FOUR DAYS LATER, they could not issue a refund without nasty fees and shipping costs that would have equalled what the item was worth, anyway....but there were no shipping fees because the item hadn't even shipped yet! So I accepted the charge and requested that my item still be shipped, but if I could PLEASE have it expedited. The CSR said she would have to get back to me on that. I waited...Finally, I called the manufacturer myself and got my answer within two minutes: It was too late to request expedited shipping.. it should have been requested a week ago. I HATE MERCANTILA.
