Mega Rip-off!!

Seeing the TV ad for Smart Lidz , $10/set, I went on line and ordered two sets expecting it to be an honest transaction. Additional ads on the Website asked if I would like to add other items. I chose some expecting to adjust on the final Payment page.

When I reached the final page, the total was $33.00 and $41.00 for S&H!
Total of $74.00 for this order! Before I could cancel the order it was automatically forwarded.
Immediately, I phoned to cancel the order but was told, after waiting 35 minutes for an operator, that I must wait 24-72 hours for the order to be downloaded then they could cancel.
I called every day to cancel.
Today I called and was told that the order had already been shipped and I was out of luck.
I called my credit card company to cancel the payment but was told I must wait until the sale shows on my record before the rejection process can begin.

I must return the merchandise unopened, before the credit card company can begin acting on the complaint. It will take at least 30 days to receive satisfaction.
Moral of the story...check boards such as this before committing your money to this type of "good deals". And watch for the S&H rip-off.

Same complaint as others..after giving my credit card I found a $15.90 charge added to my bill.I called the company and was told to call back in 3 days when the order had been processed. When I called back I was told the item had been mailed and couldn't be cancelled. Then my credit card company advised me that two orders had been placed by smart lids. Still trying to sort it out
