I remodeled my whole home with maytag appliances in 2002. They all suck!! I have had nothing but problems with all of them (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave and Oven.)

I would not recommend them.

I purshcased a Maytag washing machine on 12/13/06 on 7/16/08 it broke. Cost of new transmission: $450. Cost of of new washer, 399. Repair agencies contacted all agreed, it was notorious for faulty trans and if replaced, the company would send the same faulty part, not an upgrade. The company needs a class action law suit. No major applicance should only last 18 months.
