First it does not work as stated, you have to go thier tech support and talk with a rep, then if your problem is not solved the have you talk with a higher level support person. howevewr, that person makes you go through the same steps as the first taking hours, then as in my case, the problem was not resoleved. one rep told me my internet coneection was not fast enough, so I up-grade my internet service paying the extra cost and that still was not the problem. Then going back to thier on-line support I had to go through three more tech persons doing the same procedures only to get the same errors. Another 2 to three hours. Finally I got the right tech person who fix the problem in 2 min. After 6 hours of time and turning off all my on-line security the final result had nothing to to do with any thing that the previous tech people told me. Know the issue is that my phone will not ring when I get a call, thier solution is buy an ac powered usb because the magic kack is not sufficient to power the phone to make it ring. Well, how do I know if I get a call? Final conclusion is that magic jack may save money on your phone bill but there is a lot they do not tell you. It is not the product they make it to be on TV. Most people would give up after dealing with thier tech support.

It is worst than that. Mine would go dead after I dial a number for 3 or 4 times or go silent at my end even though the other party gets the call but no one is on line. After 4 tries it finally goes through that is how I found out what a bunch of @#$!@$!@ magicjact is, this is a U.S. call. Worst product I have ever bought ********* WASTE OF MONEY ******** Don't believe the ad !!!!
