For 1, the people who say this service sucks, their just idiots who don't understand how to simply plug in the jack into their computer, just stupid people. Number 2, magic jack is Freakin' Sweet!!!! No problems what so ever...this saves me around 30 bucks a month. What a great invention and THANK YOU MAGIC JACK FOR HELPING TO PROVIDE CHEAP, AWESOME TELEPHONE SERVICE!

Magic Crap is what they should name it. I tried Magic Jack on both Comcast and Broadband. Although, the reception was better on Comcast, the quality was still far from the quality you get with a land line or cell phone. Ironically, I can hear people fine. The people I am calling however get breaking up and it's like I am talking through a walkie talkie or a tin can with a string. Thank goodness I have a 30 day free trial to send it back. I just got this thing and it's too annoying to use another day. It sucks that I have to waste my money to send it back to them!

how much does this majic jack cost i thought it was 19.99 a month are there other charges and also how about sercurity on your pc with it?
