Lousy!! - Customer Service

You would think in this day and age companies would value their customers and try to retain them. I have a 7 month old TV from Westinghouse that the sound stopped over night. I have made dozens of calls to try and get a replacement because it is impossible for me to send it or take it anywhere. All I ask for is to have Westinghouse authorize my local store to exchange it for one that works. Why can't someone call me back? Never again Westinghouse! I am to the point of contacting the president of Westinghouse. Think it will do any good?

Westinghouse CANT authorize a local store to replace your set. Each are separate entities and one cant tell the other what to do. However, if you are within your warranty period, call their customer service and get it replaced -- it will be a refurb and probably take 3 months to get, but at least your tv will work.

I just got off the phone w/customer service and got nowhere.
Purchased $300 monitor 3 yrs ago and now its dead. Westinghouse should go out of business for making inferior products they can't even support. Never again will I buy from them!

Maybe you and I could get together. I also had purchased a TV 7 months ago and my picture went I only had sound. I returned it to CA for replacement. It has been 4 weeks and they can't tell me when it will be replaced. OH and now they tell me I won't get a replacement I will get a refurbished unit. NEVER again will I buy a Westinghouse product.
