I bought a mattress from this company in late March around midnight. That should have been a red flag...ordering a mattress from an online organic mattress store at midnight? Anyway, the sales guy didn't really seem to want to talk with me about how wonderful the bed was; in hindsight, I could tell he just wanted to make the sale and get off the phone (another red flag). He offered me a deal I couldn't refuse--a top of the line bed for the price of the lower-priced bed with free shipping--$2000 exactly. My credit card was charged immediately, and he said that the bed would ship within 3 weeks. As the end of the 3 week period approached, I e-mailed the company; they said that there would be a 2 week delay. I waited the 2 weeks; another delay. I waited again for another 3 weeks. This company offered countless excuses, like they were building a new mattress factory in another state, they were waiting on materials to come in from another country to begin making the bed, etc. I inquired again about when the ship date would be, and the reply was that it would be another month before it would ship because several employees had "mishandled funds". They said that if I wanted to cancel, I could, but I would have to get my money back through my credit card company (meaning file a dispute) because their credit card machine was down due to the mishandling of funds--what a crock. My credit card company said that was absurd. I guarantee you that their credit card machines were working fine--fine enough to charge more credit cards. I canceled my order immediately--sometime the middle of May. My credit card company issued a conditional credit, meaning that I had to prove that I never received the bed before they could get the money back for me. Well, I sent them all my documentation. The credit changed to a permanent credit sometime around July 26 (60 days after I filed the dispute). I was finally able to order another bed from a reputable company after almost 4 months. I learned that Simply Organic Sleep operates under several names: Live for Tomorrow, Natural As Sleep, and Simply Organic Sleep. Beware--these are all the same company. Please do not order anything from these companies. Save yourself a major headache.
