Lincoln Cafe in Mount Vernon, Iowa

This place has AMAZING FOOD!!! tastes great, looks like a piece of art (it is!) and the service is great too!!

prices are a teeny bit high tho.

no dress code or anything, many come in in jeans and tshirt.

only problem is it gets crowded because everyone loves it!!! make a reservation!

they have 3 specials, one special appetizer, one soup, and 3 desserts every day plus a separate menu that always stays the same. they NEVER EVER repeat a single one of the recepies!!! (except for the ones in the printed menu of course but those are never specials)

There's a kids section of the printed menu, with hamburger, hot dog, pbj, etc...

it was mentioned in the oprah magazine and the new york times too!:p

this place is a must-see! out of 5 stars i would rate it a bajillion!
