Two weeks ago I bought a Craftsman Rotary Lawn mowe 650 serises Briggs ad Stratton engine power-propelled 22"multi-cut. The second time I mowed with it the self propelled handle cable broke. I tried called Sears in Franklin, Ohio Middletown Mall on Towne Blvd in Warren County and no one would answer in the Lawn Mower department. So I tried calling Customer Service and got the anwering machine left a message I wanted someone to pick up or come by and fix the mower and I told them I was borrowing my neighbors mower so I would be mowing if they called back. They called back the girl said her Manager said to bring the mower in to the service department. 1. I can not lift the mower 2. I have no truck 3. I just bought the mower they should think customer service and drive 15 miles and fix it! Plus I called 3 times talked to Customer Service and they transfered me to who knows where in Sears and no one would pick up the phone. Very disapointed in Sears I have bought all my appliances with Sears if they will not come to my home and fix the mower I'm returning the mower and no longer buying from Sears.

I purchased a Craftsman 650 series mower in 2007. Less than one year later after only five cuts it had to be repaired - the spark plugs had to be replaced. Exactly one year after this, May 2009, after being used again for five cuts, the mower again will not start. After confirming that the mower was repaired I showed up at Sears to pick it up and they brought out someone else's mower. Now told it would be ready 6/6/09, I am not holding my breath. After I returned from Sears the day they DID NOT have the mower I called Sears customer service department - ho hum - sorry you're not happy...I still don't have the mower. Sue, I hope you returned the mower because in month my warranty is up and now it will break again. $360 (not counting the last repair bill) thrown away. Sears has really lost it.
