LG Electronics ; LG should change their logo to LB i.e. Life is Bad that better describes their customer service.

New (Purchased Oct. 25, 2008) French Door Refrigerator, model LFC 255770TT.

It has now been 8 days since our initial contact with LG customer service. Refrigerator doesn't work (i.e. it doesn't cool refrigerator or freezer). Lost time sitting around for incompetent service technician who apparently doesn't know how to use a phone. Barley competent customer service department in Alabama. More than a week without a refrigerator, yes life is good!

We will see if this continues into another weekend.

We also purchased a french door refrigerator freezer in Nov 2008 -- and we've been out of service since June 7th. It is now July 11th. We were told yesterday that the refrigerator could not be repaired, and shipping of a new refrigerator would be arranged today. Now we are being told that it will be repaired, but technician cannot come until Monday, June 15th. NOT ACCEPTABLE! This is the worst customer service, and I was patient until this evening! I intend to blog and tell everyone NOT to purchase any LG products ever on whatever websites I can. I will also be calling the newspaper and the local tv stations to let them know what poor customer service LG provides.
