This is EXACTLY the problem I'm having as well. Bought the machine set in '03, 2 service calls a year, never received notice of class action, nor of recall. Still having issues & now need to buy a whole new washer/dryer set. I'm sure there is a law firm out there that would love to represent ALL the clients that were never INFORMED by Sears or Kenmore. Suggest calling the Legal Department of Sears/Kenmore as well as the Better Business Bureau in your area. The more the complaint rack up, the better your chances that your are going to get some satisfaction. Best of luck!
