I just wanted Delta Airlines to know how helpful Jannie Brack at BHM FTO in Alabama helped me, my sister and brother-in-law. We flew out on a Monday 02/16/09 at 7:00am from Richmond, Va. We were traveling for My Aunt Millie's funeral in Reform, Ala. The wake was 02/16/09 at 5:00pm for the family. We arrived in Atlanta about 9:30am that morning but our flight going to Colombus MS got canceled due to mechanical difficulties. We finally got a flight to Birmingham, Ala and arrived there about 3:30pm I think. We thought my bag made in on the flight but not. Jannie called Atlanta and my bag was on it's way to Columbus MS. She got phone numbers and had the bag delivered to Reform about 10:30pm that night. In Birmingham we had to rent a car and got to the wake late around 7:00pm, but Jannie did help me get my bag so I could dress up the next morning for Aunt Millie's funeral. Our flight was at 4:30pm 02/17/09. We had to leave Reform at 1:00pm and only had time for the funeral Mass and lunch and no time to get to the graveside. We left with the rental car and got back to Birmingham about 2:30pm and turned it in and lo and behold Jannie was at the ticket counter where she checked my bag in again and arranged for my sister Laura Parker to get wheelchair assistance all the way home. We 3 had to stopover in Pittsburg. Lolly my sister would have never made it through that airport due to a bad hip sprain. We paid about 900.00 a piece for each ticket just to go one day and come back the next for this funeral with Delta but it was important for my Dad that we were there. The cost of the tickets with Delta was tough and then when we got canceled going to Columbus Ms and then had to pay for a rental car and drive 2 hours from Birmingam to Reform and still were late that afternoon for the wake. Jannie Brack with Delta was the shining blessing for us. Since then we have had to put both of our parents in the hospital for a stroke and severe congestive heart failure. This has been since coming back from Aunt Millie's funeral. This commendation for Jannie Brack is late but I've been a little tied up. Thanks Jude M. Jennings
