I am a Bank Of America customer and i am wondering they are so big that the government wont let them fail? or could they?

I know insurance covers me but if many banks failed the insurance fund would run out.

I have read about them and they are doing well in this economy but do we know how much their mortgage related losses are?

Hey Chuck, more than likely your credit limit was reduced because of some change in your financial history. Maybe you have other credit cards that are now carrying much higher balances or you have been late on other accounts, or as they said your credit score went down- there are a number of reasons a credit limit can be reduced and it is very common for any bank to reevaluate the potential risk of their customers over time. Yeah it sucks, but banks do it all the time.

After having your Mastercard CC since 1995 I am closing my account for the following reasons:
1)Poor & rude CSR's unable to positively handle the pressures of the job. Mgmt. needs to hire & train better.
2)After having an account in good standing since 1995, alway paying on time, I am rewarded with a good credit limit, then for no account reason at all I receive an ignorant letter signed by card services ( no human person takes responsibility in your company) saying my credit limit is going down & blame it on my credit rating. Because of other irresponsibile people I am plagued. Yes due to unfair practices I had unresolved dispute that will never be solved, but I always had excellent relations with your company & others, yet you discriminate on me - UNFAIR!!
When treated unfairly, disrespectfully & unfriendly I will take my business elsewhere. The decision to lower my credit was a poor decision by your inapt credit weenies. Now I will incourage other customers to close their accounts. After all there are CC Companies that or good & will flourish, whereas inapt companies I will help put out of business for having stupid people making stupid mistakes. Sorries & apoligizes don't work here only resolution, which your company has opt out on not selecting. Shortly, you will find your stupid decisions have made your company customer much smaller yet I will reward the good companies that work with & help their customers.
Research this problem if you wish- former card # 5490995407482139.

GOOD BYE!
