Interest rate hike - Revolving credit

My company has used Advanta for several years with no late payments for over two years plus. The interest rate was 12% in September, 13% a couple months later then 14% in December and in January it was raised to 32%!!!! They couldn't give me a precise reason why they raised it other than a canned statement. I'm paying off the balance and will never use them again.
