In late March, 2007, I saw what I believed would be the perfect rocking chair for my apartment. It was advertised through Froogle.com by a company named Chic Home Decor. I ordered the rocking chair, paid for it on line and it was delivered three weeks later. But it was evident from the packaging that my rocking chair had been returned by another customer prior to being sent to me. The pieces of the chair were only particially wrapped and other pieces were just thrown into the carton. While all the pieces were there, there were NO SCREWS to put the rocking chair together. I called the company immediately and they never called me back. When I called again they did tell me that the manufacturer was informed and the screws would be sent within seven business days. They never arrived. Since then I have called daily and get the answering service or am asked to leave a message. No one has called me back ever. Google/Froogle needs to know this is not a trustworthy company. They need not advertise their merchandise. I only hope other consumers will learn from my bad business experience. They list their phone number as 1-866-512-2442. No one is in the office before 10:30 a.m. central time. What does that tell you! DONOT DEAL WITH CHIC HOME DECOR! Dr. Vincent J. Petrosino May 5, 2007
