In 9/07 I contacted Resort Enterprises in Largo, FL to inquire about them possibly renting part of my 10/07 timeshare week in Newport, RI. The man I spoke with was very confident he could definitely find someone to rent the (4) days for me. I was concerned that he would not have enough time, and he assured me that would not be an issue, he already had people interested in travelling to Newport. He insisted that he would be sending me a check for the rental very soon. Everytime I asked him if I would lose my money if it did not get rented he insisted that would not happen and he would be overnighting me a check. Unfortunately I fell for his act, I signed a contract on 9/17/07 and used my VISA to pay the $399 fee. I never heard a word from this man until I called him a week before the rental would begin. He hadn't found anyone yet and assumed he could rent it for a later date. I never game him that impression, the contract rental dates were 10/15-18/07 (very specific). At this point he assured me he would call travel agencies and other contacts he works with to get those days rented, which never happened and no refund either. I gave them every chance to do the right thing and they gave me every excuse in the book including telling me they didn't have enough time to find a renter, how ironic is that!!!. Stay away from this company they are liars and ripoffs. Please learn from my mistakes.
