After being a loyal Microsoft customer for over 20 years now - I have decided to go MAC when I get my new computer next month -

Over the years there have been little things that have ticked me off - billing errors - but this latest blunder - In October my computer - a Compaq 5310US (circa 1998) crashed repeatedly and I found that if I ran with just IE or Foxfire - I would do fine but I have been paying $10.05 per month for over 15 years for MSN Premium Explorer - the one with all the bells and whistles - goes online and checks your bank balance for you - the works - but It was filling up my RAM to the point that programs would cause the machine to just shut off - 20 or 30 times a day
So I took MSNPremium off my machine back on Oct3rd and went online line to billing.microsoft.com and marked off that I wanted my account deleted -

I even got an email stating that my account had been closed -

But then on Oct 25th I got another email saying that my bankcard had been declined for this months charges -

I called and spoke to Customer service and was told that apparently my online experience had not gone through but they would put it through manually - and closed my account on Nov 3rd - then on Nov7th and again on Nov25th my credit card was charged the $10.05 = not once but twice - and when I called to see what was going on - I was told that the 7ths charge was for October to November and the 25ths charge was for November to December - and that a credit would be issued for this 2nd charge but that I was to late top claim a credit for the 1st charge -

So I waited and waited - I was told that the charge would appear on my card within 72 hours - and here it was Dec1st and no credit - so I called again - and a Ms Jolly #9GNH informed me that I was not due any credit as I had the billing cycle reversed and the Nov7th billing was for Sept-Oct and the Nov25th billing was for Oct-Nov and so no credit was due me......

I WAS LIVID!!!!
and still am....
but after requesting Ms. Jolly's Supervisor and being told that she was the highest ranking supervisor that I could speak to - I hung up and called back and got someone else - who was very helpful and I finally got my credit -

but I am still planning on writing to Bill Gates and have this woman FIRED!!!!
