Il Giglio is Il Mulino's lesser known sister restaraunt. The food is every bit as good as Il Mulino, but it's easier to get into. The staff was very accomodating when I called to make a reservation for a large party at prime time on a Saturday night. The service is just what you would expect from an old world Italian place: attnetive but not intrusive. This is one of my favorite places in New York and I would jump at any chance to go back.
