Yay!!!!????

I think this must be important since ads for it are everywhere and it is being written about and a whole new group of NYers are finding out where Red Hook is.

So, if you like Ikea i guess you are juiced that there is now one that much closer to you and you know longer have to run the Jersey gauntlet to get your fix

I was so excited to hear about the Red Hook store since it is literally 5 minutes from my apt. Unfortunately they had absolutely no summer items (no pots, lounge furniture, etc). The salespeople told me that it wasn't worth their effort to put summer stuff in the store since they would have to pull it a month later. Sorry - I don;t get that strategy.
Won't go there again. In fact bought my stuff on sale (-50%) at West Elm - BAD MOVE IKEA!
