If you have a Bank of America Credit card at a low interest rate, do not miss a payment or they will raise your interest rate to 32 percent for the next 6 months before they will drop the interest rate in the slightest. Do like we did, pay them off and cance your credit card. This is the only way they will get the message that they cannot treat people this way with out repercussion. I believe a class action law suit would be in order if enough people experience this tradgedy as we did.

This happened to me, but for a different reason. I paid online and it got posted to a promotional account instead of my actual account. So I resolved the problem and had the money transferred to the correct account, and they also credited my late payment fee of $39. But then they raised by interest rate for 5.9 to 29%. I have tried several times to explain what happened and have the interest rate returned to its original rate, but they tell me they don't have the authority to do so.
