Chef Tony does a great job showing what the Smart Lidz can do. I was so excited to see how I could keep leftovers from growing fuzz in my refrigerator by vacuum sealing them with a Smart Lidz.

The problem is if you go to the website to order the 4 lids for just $10.00 and get another set free, you don‘t see what the shipping charge will be until you have been charged. Other sites give you the grand total and then asks if you accept. This site doesn’t.

I decided to order 2 sets expecting to receive 4 sets for $20.00 plus shipping. I almost went into outer space when I saw the charge of over $51.00, which meant I would pay over thirty one dollars and change for shipping.

I will be calling tomorrow to cancel my order and put a stop on the transaction if it shows up at my bank for payment.

I guess plastic wrap and finding unrecognizable food in the back of the refrigerator is still my lot in life. Besides, they will show up sooner or later in the stores. And you won't have to pay an unrealistic amount for shipping.

I went to their web site as well. There is fine print on the bottom. I agree it is a major rip-off. In your case they wanted you to pay 31.80 for freight (7.95 x 4) with a merchandise cost of 20.00. 150% more on freight compared to the cost of the merchandise. I decided against it since it is a ripoff.

I went through the website and wasn't sure whether or not you had to place 2 in the "how many do you want slot" or 1 for the buy one get free so I put 2 to see what the price came out to thinking I would have to confirm my details, the price came out to 51.80 so I knew that I had made a mistake but I never did anything to confirm so I went back and made the correct order. The next day I got an order conformation e-mail from both orders. So today I called 920-966-6600 waited on hold for about 5-10 minutes, And told them I had placed an order by mistake. The lady was very nice and told me that my order for 51.80 had been canceled. After seeing these reviews I was worried but as of now it seemed to have gone just fine lets hope they don't try to screw me.

I got the same treatment - the postage is more that the item - imagine
and the site has no active customer complaint - very sad.

Thank you for your comment, I was going to order these lids, but after reading all the comments about the ordering problems, I'll keep using sran wrap
