I was in another state, saying goodbye to my grandfather as he was taken off life support. I come home to find my car gone. It turns out that they had my car towed while I was gone because the tags expired the days it was towed.
A few days later, I receive a phone call asking about a letter I had received from them about my lease expiring, and they wanted to know what I wanted to do, whether it be renew, my lease, go month to month, etc. The letter said that I had until the 20th of that moth to let them know, I got the phone call on the 18th.
I let them know that I wanted to move out at the end of the month. They say that I can't, because it's Washington law that I give them 20 day notice before I leave.
I've frustrated, so I ask if I can do a prorated payment for the next moth of the 7 days that I'll be in the apartment. They say I can't, because they don't do that.
All in all, I got fired from my job because I couldn't go anymore, and I had to pay them $580 because they don't have a prorated policy. Do NOT work with this company!
