I registered as member and submitted profile to match.com site in April 2007. Within one month I realised that working and living in a Moslem environment such sites get blocked disallowing access. Have been trying to access site's customer care to cancell embership, remove my profile from site but with no success - I am unable to access site and despite numerous emails to customercare.match.com - I've had no response. To my dismay I discovered that my credit was debited for membership renewal with any advice or communication from the site.
How can I cancel my profile and get a refund? Can someone please help?

I have been a member for some time and I am now wanting to cancel my memership and wanted to do that for some time.I have registered my cancelation several months ago but you are still billing me every month.Please cancel my membership and really I should get a refund.For the last several months your match .com letters have been coming through with unsubscribed on the an have shown nothing els.

I also had issues with their six month plan. I have been blocked without being given a reason. I was following all the guidelines and rules they set forth to me. I was in month four when I found that I was blocked. After talking to customer serice I was told they could not get into my account. I was referred to the abuse team. They sent me a generic email stating that I would need to subpoena them to find out why I was blocked. I spoke to my attorney. She said we need to find out what type of subpoena I would need or if I would need to file a court order. Again, I get a generic email back. I have sense filed a complaint with consumer affairs. I am also going to file a complaint with the better business bureau. I am not going to let this go.

I signed up for their 6 month subscription. After only one day my account was terminated without any explanation. I tried in vain to speak to someone, but they told me the policy for resolution was through email only.. They finally returned my email and stated that I would need a court order from a judge or law enforcement authority to get any info. Can you imagine..? What kind of country are we living in, I mean they're in Texas and I'm in NY. I am not going to let this slide, I have nothing but time and money. I have hired a very powerful law firm and I have also contacted the Texas Attorney Generals Office..

You are out of luck. They are scum. I called to cancel when I noticed they charged my account for the renewal and they wouldn't refund the money. I tried to charge it back through VISA and it was denied since they supposedly have it in their terms and conditions. Their customer service SUCKS. I would never use them nor recommend the site to anyone.
