I purchased my Sager Laptop in March of 2003. It's model 8880. This computer is something else. Almost 5yrs old and its been dropped down concrete stairs, in a carrying case of course, but still and in a fit of anger thrown to the floor. All I had to do was repair the XP install and was up and running in no time. This is one workhorse of a comptuer
If all laptops were built to this standard, well, there wouldnt be any issues with service. The only thing to ever go wrong was the power brick and it was replaced under warranty. Nothing else has gone wrong. After a a few years the disk died, but thats to be expected in the normal course of ownership. Disk drive technology has improved considerably in 5 yrs.
Again, let me say to Midern, a job well done.
