I booked DJ services with A Sensory Sound in February of 2007 for a September 2, 2007 event. I put down a $250 deposit. On June 11, 2007 we cancelled our event. I was promised a return of my deposit. After numerous phone calls and many promises, I am still waiting for the refund of my deposit. I have spoken to the president of the company, John Kay, and he made me a promise that it would be returned. After waiting two weeks, I called John Kay back and he said that their policy is that they don't return deposits. Nowhere on the contract that I signed does it say there is a nonrefundable deposit policy. He then asked me to compromise and accept a $150 refund. I was so frustrated and desperate that I agreed. Of course, I still haven't seen ANY refund. I am writing this on November 1, 2007 and have just spoken with several employees who swear up and down that the check went out priority mail yesterday. Guess what...the tracking number they gave me is bogus!!! DO NOT hire this company. Their customer service policy is to lie to and ignore their customers.
