I am tired of being treated like a criminal at my local wal-mart. Tonight I went in to simply exchange an UNOPENED Ipod 8gb nano-- blue one for a green one WITH A RECEIPT. Upon ENTERING the store the alarm went off, so I had to be subjected to the greeter... More...

I agree that customer service at Walmart is horrendous! I too was subjected to interrogation by an elderly citizen as soon as I walked in the door with my return. After 10 minutes of paperwork I went to the returns desk with a Rubbermaid sink mat that stunk to high heaven. I was first in line, thank goodness. But no, I was sent to the kitchen accessories aisle 1/2 mile away to bring one back for the CSR to scan (I had opened mine and thrown away the UPC code but did have a receipt). When I returned to the returns desk I was 3rd in line behind women with umpteen items to return and umpteen kids running wild. Two more CSR's were standing around twiddling their thumbs. I finally got my turn and got the H out of that store & have not been back even though I have a mini blind to return. This will have to wait until I have a full day to spend just to return the item.
