I am appalled at the overdraft...

I am appalled at the overdraft fees at this bank. They are outrageous. They are stealing money from the poor to middle class who are having enough problems in this economy. Shame on them for praying on the hard working working- class family. All banks and other money institutions should be reviewed and the cost for services revised. President Bush would be wise to take a look at this situation and do something about it. I do not know how their executives can sleep at night. Shame, shame shame.

Suntrust is aweful. I have had so many bad experiences with them. In 2006 we had had our 1st house on the market our real estate agent called our loan officer numerous times to get our pay off so we could negotiate our selling price. Come to find out 2 weeks before closing it was off by almost 6,000. Our agent took a commission cut and we had to use all of our 401k to finalize the process. We found out later that he was mad that we were going with Va. first mortgage ( which is a subsidiary of suntrust, and we didn't know that until it was to late) because we were buying another house. The first loan officer even called the boss of the new loan officer and said he was stealing clients...Hello they are all with Suntrust!! and besides the new person we were dealing with gave us more options and paid our home inspection. So he lied..and we had to pay for it..UNFAIR!! This is all documented and several witness.
The 2'nd issue we had in nov. of 06 they reversed our loan number for our mortgage payment and it took until April of 07 to fix. Everybody blamed everyone else the mortgage blamed the bank and vice versa..YES april of 07..It was pain..and stressful.
3'rd..economy is bad and I lost my job we are behind in our house payments by 3 months. I call Suntrust to work things out but they cant help us..WE had to file chapter 7 in may of 08..We reaffirmed our house.. But now we are behind. They say they cant help people who file bankruptcy..no modification no forebearance..NOTHING!! they want to raise our payments..
MY Thing is if they hadn't of screwed is in our payoff amount in 06..WE would have our 401k MONEY TO CATCH UP!!!!!!! i want my money back..
