Horror Story

I have been with Comcast for a long time & I a was actually shocked with there customer service skills and service period this evening 10/30/08 it all started around 4 p.m. my roommates Daughter called she is 14 yrs old and has been a missing & exploited child since 3 1/2 months ago her name is Samantha I had called numerous times because we we're getting a call from the state of Georgia from his Daughter calling collect & the phone calls would'nt come thru comcast was vary helpful helping me thru this but around 7:30 8:pm I spoke with a women at comcast Customer Service who I was explaining the situation that the child still could not get thru and I had even went to a pay phone and check it out myself and she said no Comcast Customers could even get Collect Calls then She became vary Rude and said, in a tone of Voice vary unprofessional if it was my Daughter I'd call the Georgia Police like we we'rent doing performing good parenting skills and continue to talk vary unprofessional and then just slammed me on music and left us hanging there Finally after another Call from other concerned and helpful employee's at Comcast we found out that it's from the payphone who are owned by other phone company owners so, if this should happen to you have the child or individual call 1-800- Collect later that evening another concerned Employee Called us Back to give us these no# for her to call us I have nothing bad to say about comcast they have been excellent to me over the years but, who ever this female employee was she should be fired on the spot. I cannot believe anyone could be so heartless if we knew where the child was we could call the Police. by the way Samantha was last seen being taken by a adult male here in Eugene, Oregon in a Van and now the last time we heard from her she was on the streets of Georgia
I hope comcast looks into this employee but besides that I have never had a problem w/ Comcast there service has been great and I will remain with them it's not there fault who they hire you can never be sure about who you hire..
