Peach Direct Complaint

Hi,

I'm writing this in behalf of my mother. She recieved a mailing from Peach Direct in June she looked at it and even had her son check out the website. After talking to him she ordered a TV on July 12, 2007. And she watch the webite on July 24, 2007 it claimed it was shipped out and gave her a tracking number. Which is you click on it takes you to a Fed EX website and they claim not to know anything about it. She called Peach Direct and was told it was to shipped by a indentpent shipper. She has been told on other calles it wasn't shipped out yet,. One call said that she should be getting it within days that was beginning of last week. Other calls say yes it was shipped out and that they don't know where it is. (A thousand dollar TV and they haven't a clue as to where it is?) My mother before she retired worked in a company and shipped all over the world and had a boss who demanded that they know at every step where the packages were. And she knew.

Today after her call to the company and the promise that the information would be turned over to a supervisor and that they would get back to her at the end of the day. I googled the comany and was amazed to see all the complaints against the them.

I read in one post that the only way to get any help is to have a lawyer or the Attorney General office go after them.
