I can't believe that the Carter Hotel has not been condemnd years ago. I have never in my life experienced anything like it. From the moment you stepped off the elevator it went downhill from there. Lastminutetravel.com showed pictures of a clean but small room. What we got was no headboard, a tv that didn't work, the dirtiest carpet I have ever seen (you couldn't even take off your shows. Bugs in the bathroom, bugs running across the bed, the electrical outlet ripped out of the wall. The bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned in year. The plastic shower liner was new but you could probably catch something if you touched the plastic rings that held up the curtain. I could go on for days. Absolutely not one positive thing to say about the hotel.
