Harassed by CBE group Inc,

I have received phone calls from CBE group Inc three times a day for the last two months!!
Every single time there would be a recorded message and you would have to press 1 to be connected to a representative
Finely I had the chance to respond the phone and talk to one of their representative
Only to find out that they were looking for somebody that lived here before us about 5 years ago!!
I was already upset about the ridicules amounts of phone calls and to find out that they are looking for somebody else
But what really got me outrage is that when I asked the representative to make sure that CBE group will not call me again I got a bad attitude and was disrespected!
So instead of an apology for all the unnecessary phone calls I got the opposite
I have never encountered a company that has such a bad work ethics and is disrespectful and unprofessional!
I did not ask to be called 3 times a day for two months and I definitely did not ask to be insulted by CBE group inc
My suggestion for CBE group Inc would be that they take a good look at their work ethics and treat people with more curtsey and respect!
After all if there are no customers there is no company!

Firstly, you're all complete tools.

Secondly, if you tell them the person they're asking for does not live there and you have never heard of them, they are required to remove your phone number from their database.

CBE group call at your as early as 6.00 AM they say they have their own laws and they don't give a damn to federal trade commission laws

I have been called by CBE Group robocalls for months. Problem is I have no outstanding debt. They are looking for a name we do not know. This is undeserved harrassment

We have found the solution to this problem. They are in violation of the Fair Debt Collections Act under the Federal Trade Commission. They told us to send a letter to CBE and tell them we have spoken to the Attorney General and they told us to send them a letter to stop all phone calls and send it Certified Mail, Request Return Receipt. You can get their address on line.

I am being harassed by CBE Group Inc. They call 5 to 8 times a day, they do not leave messages or talk when I answer the phone. Most of the time when I say Hello, they hang up, 1/2 hr to 2 hrs later, they call again. This has got to stop. I am 81 yrs old and my daughter has to help me do everything. We don't need this hassle.

Call or write the Federal Communications Commission. CBE is probably in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which governs the way in which collections agencies can act.

Iv'e been getting two calls a day from (caller ID )CBE GROUP INC. when I pick up the phone theres nothing,I called the number back with my cell phone and left a recording like why the fuck don't you talk when you call my house! I'm on the no call list.
Today it they called again, this time somebody picked up the phone and asked for Amy (my last name) I told him theres never been an Amy and that I'm on the no call list! he said this is not a solisitation call.I asked him if he was going down the last names in the phone book, he said thats not the case and hung up.
How can we report these loser jerks who can't work a honest job?

I've been having the same problem. Multiple automated messages from a guy named Dave. When I was finally able to catch the call live, I got patched through to a guy named John. He first asks my full name, I oblige. But then he gives the name of one of my old rental property addresses and I ask him who he is and why he is calling. He refuses to say who the company is or why he is calling unless I give him more personal information. I tell him not to call anymore and he says he will keep calling. I tell him if the calls continue I will call the police and he said "go ahead" we'll keep calling. Does anyone out there know what can be done about something like this? I don't think I should be required to give out personal information to anonymous callers. Searching the phone number online I can see this is a collection agency and can only assume one of my previous tenants had an unpaid bill. I have never had a late payment for anything in my life.
