I have received phone calls from CBE group Inc three times a day for the last two months!!
Every single time there would be a recorded message and you would have to press 1 to be connected to a representative
Finely I had the chance to respond the phone and talk to one of their representative
Only to find out that they were looking for somebody that lived here before us about 5 years ago!!
I was already upset about the ridicules amounts of phone calls and to find out that they are looking for somebody else
But what really got me outrage is that when I asked the representative to make sure that CBE group will not call me again I got a bad attitude and was disrespected!
So instead of an apology for all the unnecessary phone calls I got the opposite
I have never encountered a company that has such a bad work ethics and is disrespectful and unprofessional!
I did not ask to be called 3 times a day for two months and I definitely did not ask to be insulted by CBE group inc
My suggestion for CBE group Inc would be that they take a good look at their work ethics and treat people with more curtsey and respect!
After all if there are no customers there is no company!

What is really strange is that although I suspected they may be a debt collection service, they would not even divulge that information - they can't even tell me what they do?, the government should take lessons from these clowns.
Based on this limited experience, I agree that the company's methods are odd at best, weird at worst.
We have never received any communication by mail from anyone about any debt issues, so this whole thing came as a complete surprise as well.
Of course the company won't change its way of doing business, but it would seem that somebody there would realize that it is in their best interest to provide a return phone number on each message at least. Seems it would save a whole lot of time on everybody's part.
What a way to run a business.
BY LAW, A DEBT COLLECTOR HAS TO STOP CALLING IF YOU SEND THEM A LETTER REQUESTING THAT THEY STOP COMMUNICATION

There is a US Government Law to Protect you & STOP those Harassing Phone Calls. It's called the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act - 15 U.S.C. §§ 1692-1692p
The law was enacted by Congress because "There is abundant evidence of the use of abusive, deceptive, and unfair debt collection practices by many debt collectors" - US Congress FDCPA
The full law is readily available on the net in a pdf file in easy to read format.
Under - Section 805c of the FDCPA (15 USC 1692C) all you need to do is to write a letter to the DEBT Collector stating that you want them to cease and desist communication with you.
If the Debt Collector has been harassing you with phone calls, you can take them to small claims court and win. It costs $25 to $50 to file a claim, but the usual award for a violation of section 805C is around $1000. Use that money to pay off your bill.
Secondly, if you tell them the person they're asking for does not live there and you have never heard of them, they are required to remove your phone number from their database.
Is that they DONT STOP CALLING. I've told these people like four times to quit calling me. They are looking for Christy. I am not Christy. I do not know Christy. They've been told this. I have told them to STOP CALLING ME. Yet, they continue to call.
