If a customer bought an HDTV receiver somewhere else, do not charge them if they did not activate the receiver by calling. Do not assume equipment on site is up to date. Do not charge early termination fees when service was not fully provided. Contract is not honored in full and consumer loss is forever. Threatening customers with early termination fees shows that the company Directv is scared of competition.
