Thank you to everyone who took the time to write reviews here. I too was reeled in by the commercials but decided to do a Google search before buying the lids. Thank God I did!

I also wanted to tell everyone that if you pay with a major credit card or American Express you can initiate a claim with your card for defective product (in the case they don't work) and you will get a refund. All of your purchases with a credit card are insured.

The few times I have gotten nowhere with a vendor, this has worked like charm. Good luck!
