I love Candy hearts and when my local drug store ran completely out of them on February 9th which was 5 days before valentines day I was told by the store manager that they were no longer going to ever carry them again when my local news said you could get them year round starting this year. So I had to resort to order them online. I am disabled and have severe osteo arthtitis and it is not as if I can go hardly anywhere because I use a walker and my knees hurt 24 hours a day.I found this company and the picture of the Candy hearts said they were Brachs and they were not. They tasted horrible and the product was 100% substandard and the hearts tasted like a cheap fruity syrapy flavor and every heart all tasted the same and they were very bad. I called the company the next day after I got the package and was told that since the package was opened there was absolutely NOTHING they could do for me. How are people supposed to know if the product is edible or good or not? My local grocery store 3 times had bad hamburger meat and all I had to do was bring the recipt and the meat back and all three times they gave me my money back. They are across the street so it is no problem for me to walk over there.
I have never had any business in 25 years ever tell me what Candy Warehouse told me. These jerks would not even give me a replacement product. Needless to say it cost $10.14 to have 5 lbs of hearts shipped to me as well as $19.99 for the hearts. I feel I was 100% RIPPED OFF. I work in a huge call center and so far have told 15 people and those 15 people will tell others and so on and so on and Candy Warehouse will lose business for sure. On their web site it says "satisfaction guaranteed" and my product was NOT "satisfaction guaranteed" AT ALL. Candy Warehouse are LIARS. They lied on their site and are selling a substandard product for a super high fee.I called my credit card company I put the purchase on and it was obvious Candy Warehouse had already talked to them and all they did was pull up their website and read to me from a screen which I could of done on my own.They think people are stupid and cannot figure out that they did not get this product from Brachs. I had Brachs last year and never did it taste like this at all. Hearts are never supposed to all taste the same and like fruit. These hearts were absolutely HORRIBLE yet they did NOTHING for me and could care less about me as a customer. Again I plan to tell more and more people about my bad experience and word spreads according to the laws of Customer Service and they will LOSE MONEY. I was 100% completely UNSATISFIED and yet Candy Warehouse cared less and did nothing but provide me a crappy product and RIPPED ME OFF!!
