Why do companies use FedEx baffles me! Last year I purchased 2 TV's on sale from Circuit City. 1 was delivered, the other just said in Rhode Island for about 3 weeks. Finally I called Circuit City and FedEx both not knowing why the package was never delivered. Turns out FedEx lost it and because it was a sale TV, Circuit City only refunded my money instead of replacing it with the TV I wanted... I never did get my TV! Now Apple used FedEx to ship my MacBook from China... Guess what? They of course sent it to the wrong area. I'm in Michigan (US) not Canada... Why the heck did it go to Canada? Because FedEx is stupid and doesn't know how to run their business.... So now I must wait an extra 2-3 days for my MacBook based on their mistakes of course. I don't think I will ever make a purchase if the companies demand on using FedEx... If you want your packages to arrive, on time or arrive at all... DO NOT USE FEDEX!!!!!

I'm a small business owner - shipped a package for a client and FedEx damaged his shipment (forklift holes in side of box - Mac tower was damaged. They would not settle claim so he did not pay shipping. FedEx then sent me, the sender, the bill saying they made an error and should have billed me. I faxed them the airway bill showing I'd checked "bill recipient" and give his account number. FedEx did not respond. Then FedEx out ME, the sender, in collection saying the fine print on the back of their airway bill shows that if they cannot collect from the recipient, they can collect from the sender. Is everyone aware of THAT nugget of knowledge? Good reason not to use FedEx. They have never addressed the recipient's damage claim but did find the time to mess up my credit. FedEx users beware!
