Fake Prize - Boys Toys Competition

I had supposedly won a prize from a magazine called Boys Toys. I had entered some competitions from their website so I thought it might actually be true. I had a voice message asking me to call them. After checking out the number and the company and that I had actually entered such a competition, I called them with the relevant details. After about 2 weeks, I emailed the people who I'd had to call. They sent me a message basically saying that it wasn't their problem and it could take a long time. Taking a while is fair enough but to take over three months to send something which was meant to be a "summer" prize is a bit pointless when summer's been over for ages.
Ok, it was free and it only cost a few pence for a 'phone call but now I know that if I get a call from these people about anything, I know not to trust them.
