I would like to strongly recommend Minimax Consulting to anyone looking for professional statistical consulting services. I submitted an original paper on clinical psychology for publication at a top-tier journal. All four reviewers agreed that I had to change the data analysis methods I had chosen (multiple regression) to Structural Equation Modeling, because of the type of data collection tool that I had used.
I struggled for months trying to learn the theory behind SEM in addition to a program I had never used to implement it. One of the reviewers recommended LISREL, which I’ve found to be very “user-unfriendly”; but still, I wanted to use it to comply with the reviewer’s requirements. As soon as I realized how complex it would be to run this analysis, I started looking for statistical consultants, and came across the Minimax Consulting team. I’m very grateful that I found them. After I showed them my proposal and my reviewers’ comments, we began working to recreate the paper according to those comments. The guys at Minimax walked me through all the details of SEM, and provided an action plan to redo the data analysis. With their help, I was finally able to learn how to use LISREL (yay!) and how it applied to my paper. They helped me understand each step of the analysis, and how to interpret the results. Two weeks ago, I resubmitted the paper. I’m really confident it will get approved for publication. In short, Minimax Consulting has been incredibly helpful to me, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for help with their statistical analysis.
