I hired them around October 2008 to help me with the results and discussion chapter of my dissertation, and everything went just great.
The best part is that I wrote them last week, after 6 months or so, because my committee asked me to tweak some of the results, and the minimax people did it immediately and without requiring any other fees. Even after so long, they remembered my dissertation perfectly, and gave me exactly what I needed. I strongly recommend this service for statistics consulting.

Can you share more about your specific statistical issues? Because so many of the reviews on here (and on other websites) say that Minimax is a serious scam and that they are really terrible at dissertation statistics. I can't disagree because that was my experience! But giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they are just bad at some things. It would be helpful to know what they were able to help you with (what field of research? what kind of data? what method, or estimator? what computer program? and so on.)

That would be really helpful!
