I had my car serviced. I was told it would be an hour, so I went to a local shopping center to kill some time. I returned an hour and half later, to find my car had not been worked on. Asking if it had been fixed, someone suddenly hopped into the car and drove it... More...

According to your service advisor. Your vehicle WAS brought in and was diagnosed. They parked it outside because the parts weren't in yet. So when you came back from your little walk,the parts then arrived. Your car was then brought back in to finish the job.
My service advisor said that he explained that to you.
Sometimes it takes longer to find parts, (that is out of our control). We try to please everyone...but some people just want something to tell the world. I hope you don't have to wait long at your doctor's office or in traffic on a busy Friday night.......those things are also out of our control.
ANYWAYS...do what you want to do....life will go on and tomorrow will come and this will be forgotten.
The bottem line is your car is FIXED
