Countrywide is continuing its underhanded and deceptive ways via there new relationship with BOA. They are now trying to gouge there customers when they try and refinance. The cost of the appraisal has gone up 30% or more as well as the cost to run your credit report. Once they put you through the ringers and offer you an interest much higher than the other banks…….they will purposely facilitate the down value of your home appraisal and offer you thousands of dollars under value. They will find home far less in value to compare your home to and then try and make you pay out of pocket to refinance. Go with any other bank. You will be better off.
