Don't Buy Sleeptronic Mattresses - Sleeptronic Angels Dream mattress

I purchased a Sleeptronic basic mattress which had a 20 year warranty. Within a year it was horrible. I returned it to place of purchase. They gave me a small credit towards purchasing a "more expensive" mattress stating that it had to be used towards the purchase of another Sleeptronic set. I added an additional $500 for the Angels Dream set.

Before 6 months was up, this mattress was also horrible. It sagged down the middle, making you roll when lying down. I again contacted the store only to learn that they no longer carried the Sleeptronic brand.
Upon contacting the Sleeptronic company, I was instructed to ship the mattresses to the company in Texas for repair. Do they realize how much it would cost to ship a mattress set? Obviously not. Stating that I shouldn't have to be out additional money, they refused to help me or take my calls.

I filed a complaint with the Texas Better Business Bureau against Sleeptronic. After 13 months of waiting for help, I contacted them only to learn that they also couldn't help me. They stated that the mattress warranty clearly states that Sleeptronic is only responsible for repairing, not for shipping, and that the repairs themselves are not warranted. If 2 days later I had the same problem, I would again have to pay to ship mattresses to Texas.

Does anyone else agree with me that this is ridiculous? Before purchasing mattresses, read your warranty and avoid any company that is not widely know by consumers. Otherwise, you will end up with a cheap mattress at an expensive price only to be stuck with it after it goes bad.

I absolutely agree, I bought a sleeptronic mattress a few months ago and the left side buckled in after 1 month!!! After what took weeks, the furniture store finally sent it back to be repaired, withing 2 weeks it caved in again!! The store is finally going to give me a new mattress but unfortunately it has to be a sleeptronics mattress, they refuse to refund my money. I will never buy another sleeptronic mattress again and highly suggest that no one subject themselves to the mercy of that company.

I totally agree!I purchased a Royal Rest (Baroness) Sleeptime queen set aprox 3 and a half years ago. Right away I noticed a sagging/popping sound at the middle edge. Now it appears I have a broken spring as the bed is sagging to the middle and making a popping sound in that area. I do not have my receipt as I moved and apparently misplaced it so I attempted to contact the store. I found out it has since closed but an affiliated store tried to help me. What that gentleman told me astounded me! What I thought was a 20 year guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on! It seems that the only one that can return the set is the original store. Well that's out. The other store has offered their help but I would have to return the set to their store and then pay a 50 dollar fee to have it shipped to Dallas, TX. Well that's out since I live 1000 miles away now. And... they tell me that the factory won't touch the set if it has any kind of a stain on it... Well... I've used the mattress, and moved the mattress... so of course it's not in perfect condition but it's nothing bad. Might I suggest that if the factory is concerned about health issues that they use latex gloves, masks, etc. like physicians do. To top all this off of course everything in the warranty is at the manufactures discretion! I paid around 559.00 for a bed that I can now throw in the trash! I purchased a Sleeptronic at the advice of my physical therapist due to a back problem and you can rest assured that I will advise her and everyone else NOT to purchase a Sleeptronic product. A very dissatisfied customer! Is there anyone out there who has had a good experience with this company?
