I applied for a yes loan and was approved in principle. when i realisied their typical APR is 48%, i though i would leave it. But i was bombarded daily with calls from their premium rate number, which upon answer starts ringing so you pay for their call. I called to be taken off their list which they said they had done. They didnt and tried calling many times where they answer straight away but then "cheerily" put you through to a "customer services" line which is constantly on hold all the time you are still ona premium rate so you pay them a fortune. When i tried to be put through to a supervisor to compain, "natalie" who wouldnt give me her surname or any manangements name so i could address a letter of complaint actually told me they werent regulated by the FSA so i would not advise anyone going to Yes loans for anything because they seem to be just Scammers

They say they're with the FSA? Er - check out their website and I think you'll find this is not the case. All they have at the bottom of the home pageis the usual company details any fly-by-night scammer can buy online; if you are FSA registered you get a neat little box declaring this. Still placing my complaint though, and I'd advise everyone else to do the same. In my case I was 'accepted' for a 2K loan at £69 pcm, then somehow passed on to Welcome car finance whose cheapest wreck is around the 6K mark. I'm getting them under the sale of goods act as I pledged my £60 for a 2k loan, not a trip to a shyster in Maidstone.
