DirectBuy Scam

DirectBuy is total scam and they give you numbers based on how you look like apparently.
Some get prices like $6,000 some $350.

They even took the money of like 15 new wed couples recently and ran away!!!

Fortunately there is a lawsuite against Direct Buy right now. I hope they get them and get everything from them too...

Yo "EYECLEANTEETH" try granite, not "granit" you are truly an idiot! I think given your degree of "education" we should all run from your educated advice.

FIrst I have to say, people need to learn how to spell. One's education level is measured in writing by how they articulate. Looser or Loser? That is hilarious. Second of all, DB is not for everyone. it is for people who want to put SS appliance and granit countertops in thier $300K and up home. It is kind of a scam? Yes because it is only for people who can afford it. Some things are not affordable to everyone. That's why we live in a free country, with free commerce.I joined DB and right out of the shoot, I saved $1400.00 on a bed. It was a $5000.00 bed. Not everyone can afford a $5000.00 bed. Not my problem. I will save $5000.00on my upcoming purchase of granit countertop for my kitchen. worth it to me? Yes.

If you are reading this then you were or might be interested in going to become a Direct Buy member. Well forget it. It is BS. Too much pressure to pay an upfront fee. It is too expensive and they give you a lot of pressure for nothing. If they are that good, then their charges should be a percentage of the item purchased. This way it is a win win situation for both parties. Everyone saves money and Direct Buy makes money. I do not understand why hey are charging a big fee. This is really a scam. Please save your money.

A scam can be defined as an attempt to intentionally mislead a person or persons (known as the mark) usually with the goal of financial gain.

This company changes its name frequently because of a poor consumer record. It was formerly known as UCCTotalHome and UCC. These are attemtps to disguise its poor consumer record.

There are many online reports on both companies regarding their poor consumer record. Look up 'direct buy scam' on any search engine.

Since you are reading this you probably don't know much about how a company like this does business.

A company with a dubious product or service for sale (like this one) will attempt to use coercive persuasion to make you buy. This may be a 'fear of loss' technique (you will not be able to tour the showroom and check prices again for 7 years if you don't sign-up today) or 'power close' techniques to 'intimidate' you into buying. Remember, they have nothing to lose ... they will not see you again if you don't buy 'today' so they are liable to try anything that might 'close the sale' with your personality type.

Time share is sold this way and some health club memberships because so many people drop out and don't use their memberships. They are really just selling 'time' to use their facility ... they have virtually no additional expenses when you join.

The contract, which no attorney would ever let you sign, is so one sided that it is patently fraudulent, in my opinion. But since you cannot take it home to review it ... most people who do join based on hype and inaccurate claims, find themselves holding a document that gives them virtually nothing for their money.

They are selling the equivalent of a SAMS CLUB membership for thousands!

Personally, I can find better deals than SAMS normally on the internet (that deliver to my home, not a warehouse) so DirectBuy selling for thousands is a total RipOff!

You are paying for a 'buying club' that gives almost no service, has prices that can be beat by almost any discount retailer. They hide behind a clever contract that gives you no rights to contest anything.

AVOID! If it were a good, decent company they would be happy to let you try it for a month for free and then pay monthly.

But if they did that no one would pay their price.

Hi Everyone, For all those that are defending DB, most of you sound like you are shareholders or have their best interest in DB. Your give away, is that you don't tell of your so called great experience with DB. You are just cutting up the people who share their bad experiences with DB. Who are you stupid people who think you know so much. Now good luck defending yourselves. Now my real name is not chad...who ever is using that name in DEFENDING DB is a big looser! I also have not been to DB, because of this nonsence of having to have an appointment and then be a member to view their products in the store or online. There seems to be something being hidden from potential customers, right off....Being upfront and honest from the beginning shows that the company has nothing to hide. Big sales pitches and too good to be true, that sounds like Direct Buy or a SCAM. I have never been able to enter a DB store or view the website catalogue, what are they afraid of??? If I had a business, I would gladly post my catalogue, with prices and there would be no hidden cost. My business would focus on the customers needs, not only my business needs (which wouldn't be greed and ripping people off like it sounds like Direct Buy is doing!) Buyer Be Ware! If you are just a homeowner trying to buy a few things, this is not the place to go. If you are a builder, maybe it is, or doing a large reno job, but even then, are you really saving what they say??? Make sure they let you look at the retail catalogue and compair the prices they are quoting you and compare them from other stores. You might not even be saving as much as you think, especially if you had to pay the mega $$$$$ membership fee, plus all the hidden delivery, freight and so fees. ...I just Care!...Be ware!

DIRECT BUY IS A SCAM - BUYS OUT INFOMERCIALSCAMS.COM TO COVER ITS TRACKS !

infomercialscams.com was strong-armed by direct buy and had to remove nearly 1,000 complaints about the direct buy scam. Why you ask. Cause when you google 'direct buy' the informercial scam site was ranked #2 by google. All that is left on the site is the fake reviews by direct buy. I would say to be very careful with dealing with a company that is afraid of what it customers post about it on the internet. This company is a scam. Go there, read the contract, its all in the contract. The contract basically states that direct buy is bound to nothing and you are bound to paying the $5,000 member fee. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

fortunatly, the postings on the net never go away,

just check archives
