Digitek Heart Medicine Recall!!

I'm no alarmist but in analyzing the recent flurry of activity surrounding digitek 's generic heart drug recall I'm worried for those people in my life who are using this substance! Namely, my grandfather and an older auntie.
The FDA has too long let drug companies get away with MURDER because everyone has their hands in everyone else's pockets with the lobbyists. It makes me sick as an American to know that we can't afford health coverage for all and those who can afford to get the needed medications are being toyed with with these unsafe products put to market too soon. Shame on us!

I have an 11 year old grandson that I have custody of that was born with Hypoplasti left heart and by age 4 has had three open heart operations. He was put on this brand of medication two months ago and no one has bothered to inform his doctor or myself that there was a recall on this brand. I found out by a co-worker who got a letter from her pharmacy. What is the FDA waiting for, hundreds of people to die before they step in and do their job.

My mom had a severe brain injury in 2005 and went into A Fib and was prescribed digitek .125 mcg. Lately she has been excessively tired and depressed and lost her appetite. Her pills do appear thicker than the ones in the Nurses' Manual.
