Deplorable Customer Service - Bookcase

I purchased two bookcases from Target which were manufactured by Linon Home Decor . One of the bookcase assembly kits did not include a critical part, so following the instructions in the booklet, I faxed in a request for a replacement part. And there it went into a BLACK HOLE.
I followed up via phone, via email, via fax and when someone finally got back to me two weeks later (imagine having a half-put-together bookcase in your living room for TWO WEEKS?), instead of helping me, "Victor" in "Customer Service" asked for a proof of purchase receipt. As if people generally poke through their packaging without buying a product, find instructions to request a missing part and then randomly order bookcase parts? For fun??
I took everything apart for BOTH bookcases and returned it all to Target for a full refund. I do NOT RECOMMEND this company as they do not provide support for their obviously substandard packing quality control.
The company president is Demetrios Ziozis.
