Delta AMEX is Horrible - Delta Gold AMEX Credit Card

I am a Delta Airlines employee and got the Delta Gold AMEX in 2007 with a credit line of $1000. In November 2008 they lowered my credit limit to $600 without advising me first. When I called to ask why my limit was lowered, they said because I had too many delinquencies. In March 2009, my balance was $440 out of $600 and when I received my tax refund check, I paid them $440 and the rat bastards closed my account without telling me. I tried to make a purchase with my AMEX and it was denied so I called AMEX and the rep said they closed my account because of too many delinquencies. Now, I had these same delinquencies when I first opened the account. I paid my bills on time at least 99% of the time and paid more than my minimum due so why did they treat me this way. I am so hurt and disgusted. I was automatically paying my cell and internet bills with my AMEX and I was happy to earn Delta Skymiles. If anything they could have dropped my limit down to $400 but not close it especially when I have been doing the right thing by them. I hate AMEX and I will no longer try to persuade Delta passengers to sign up with AMEX.

I have a amex card but not through amex . Its through ge money i started with a 1400 limit and now its 5000 . They dont charge an annual fee and they havent lowered my limit ever its been going up had it almost a year now . you dont have to deal with amex and you get dillards pts. after you spend 2000 in one year they give you an elite card where you get more dilliards pts. although the rewards are not as great you arent dealing with the douche bags at american express and you get to have all the benefits of american express but dont have to deal with any of the BS. if you want an american express i would recommend it
