This month, "Fortune Magazine" (Sept 15, 08), on page 35, of article technology (about Dell) we quote following from this article: "Dell has become almost a byword for lousy customer services".
Purchased from Dell "Inspirin Laptop" paid $1,394.21. After purchase, I had to leave for Europe where I had an accident - came back to the US - Laptop arrived but after my accident, I was not able to lift this Laptop.
I asked Dell to accommodate me and exchange the heavy Inspirin to a lighter model - but all I got was a "NO". I wrote 5 letters (by registered, Certified mail) to Senior V.P., Brad Anderson - but NO reply and I feel, it was under his dignity to reply.
The last instance when you try to reach Dell, are the famous NO sayer at Customer Relation - last instance! What a difference with HP - HP is close to perfection in customer relation.
