DVDs or NO DVDs? - Television Show DVDs

This is the second or third time I have tried to order
products from this online company. They offer DVDs
of obscure old TV shows at apparently reasonable
prices.
The problem is that they never deliver. After they get
your credit card number, name and address (and phone number, if you choose to give it) you just never
hear from them again. They also seem to have different e-mail addresses, but they are all the same
company, located somewhere in Florida. WHEN they
DO communicate to an e-mail inquiry, the text is such that the writer seems nearly illiterate, which
makes me believe that this is a poorly-run, fly by
night business front. This latest time, after waiting
now for over month for my order, they keep send-
ing me automatic e-mails telling me that my DVD
is back-ordered and will be available in 5 to 7
days. They send me a NEW one of these e-mails
EVERY day. There is also a button on their reply
which you can click if you want to cancel your
order. I suspect that it records your phone number,
if you have not already given it.
So, they have your credit card number, name, address and phone. But you get no DVD.

After two or three tries, I am beginning to think
that they are an online scam to collect your personal
information.

It's because of people like you, who give scammers "2 or 3" tries, that they stay in business (criminal enterprise, really). If you'd learned your lesson sooner, and put the message online, maybe their profits would cease and they'd have to think up something else to dupe people.

I too have encounted the same problems. The DVDs I received jump up and down and they were in black and white. They definitely look like bootlegged copies. I attempted to contact the store and of course, I did not get an answer. Email, you might as well forget it. I found out the DVDs came from Canada. On my credit card statement, I had numerous charges I did not make. I contacted my bank and my account has been closed. I am going to contact The Federal Trade Commission. They handle fraud complaints. The BBB will not do anything. They will just lodge a complaint on your behalf. Please everyone contact the Federal Trade Commission, Division of Fraud Complaints. The telephone number is 877-382-4357. I am going to start with them first. If necessary, I will contact Canada. If I find other agencies, I will post on site. Did anyone get their charges removed from the bank? I hope I can.
